No one is sure who made them but if Humans know of an Och Well&#8217;s location, they tend to look after them out of respect for the original builders.<br \/>\nThe three main parts of the well spell out the word &#8216;Och&#8217; (&#8216;O&#8217; from the stone wall, the &#8216;C&#8217; shaped roof and the &#8216;H&#8217; frame between the other two structures).<br \/>\nOch Wells symbolise the main elements of the forest :- Stone (the wall), Wood (the &#8216;H&#8217; frame), Earth and Plants (the roof) and Water (in the well).<\/p>\n<h3>Why go to an Och Well?<\/h3>\n<p>It is for issues in your life that either you can do nothing about or that you have to face no matter what you do about them. By saying your problem &#8216;out loud&#8217; it won&#8217;t change the situation but it can sometimes feel a little better to get the weight off your shoulders &#8230; for a while at least.<\/p>\n<h3>What do you do at an Och Well?<\/h3>\n<p>Once you have found an Och Well, you say your wish and throw a penny into the Well.
